There are five sports channels avaliable on Sky if you want them.

Edit - Sorry there are eight sports channels listed in the Sky on screen guide.

Sorry brain freeze.  What I meant was $90+/month for MySky with Sports Package.  Still think that is a huge amount of money when all I really want is to watch a bit of rugby.  I'm looking forward to the time when you just have freeview plus the option to subscribe to a given sport if you want.  Preferabley directly to the sport body itself and by pass Sky all together. What I really object to is subscribing to a whole load of channels I don't want just to get to watch a few rugby games. 

I also find the tech service and sales interface at Sky pretty arrogant and shoddy.  Typical of a monopolist sitting on their laurels.  Shame Tivo doesn't look the complete package needed to give them a proper wake up call.
