I don't want to knock your petition but what *exactly* are you asking for?

"Clearer" pictures means absolutely nothing.

Do you really think Sky Network TV would even look at an online petition?  I don't think so.

Anyway, you should explain yourself better in the petition foreword.  'There' should be replaced with 'their'.

I agree that Sky needs to up it's game for HD content, The reason I subscribed to MySky HDi was because I thought paying $100 a month to feed by 52" LCD TV with HD was the easiest option, but it seems most of the HD content is on the free to air channels, and the stuff I really want to see in HD like Discovery and Documentaries are as poor quality as old torrent downloads.

I really gotta ask myself why I don't just start downloading HD torrents again. I want to be 'legal' and pay content providers, but it makes it painful when I get better, clearer copies of their work illegally than directly from the content providers.

I miss being in the states where a massive amount of content is HD

i agree with exportgoldman, in a few cases i have been forced to download when otherwise i would have purchased, and with adsl2+ being rolled out its easier to download large hd media files.

I assume that you mean you tried ALL legal avenues to get the appropriate HD content ? Were you denied legal access because you weren't in a US of A jurisdiction ?

I often wonder how this would stand up in a court of law if one challenged a cease and desist order issued by a media studio, on the grounds that you were denied lawful access, esp once these ACTA negotiations finish. One day it will happen ...

A bit OT, sorry folks ...
