I know this is going a bit off topic but just noted also looking at ESPN at present, the piller boxes have "ESPN HD" noted in them, wondering if sky is now taking the HD feed and down-scaling it for SD ?

I can say this, we have a better chance of John Fellet winning Miss Universe for the next 10 years than getting Discovery Channel or Nat GEO in HD.

Actually, Prime HD could be a good bet now I think about it

This wont be happening either. The reason behind this is due to the cost to purchase HD programmes, and secondly, that Sky are happy with showing HD shows from TV1 TV2 and TV3. Disappointing, but thats the word.

All speculation aside, SS3 is active and broadcasting in HD...

Seemed to go live sometime this afternoon. Other two Test feeds still have nothing on them.

Is this available on non-MySky boxes?

I've had a look around the channels, but haven't seen it come up on my decoder yet - is it still technically a 'test' channel?

Nothing mentioned by Sky on twitter about it not being available on the non-My Sky boxes, it's channel 333.

Good stuff - handy to have.

Would be nice if it was linked to the red button when watching any of the sports channels - to give us something approximating overseas features like 'News Active' we see mentioned.  (Hey it would be a start!)
