Yeah - I just saw the acknowledgement on Facebook of the issue. I am seriously impressed by that. Previously they have stuck to their head in the sand attitude with gusto.

Hopefully they can actually fix the issue.

Cheers - N

I'm hoping the fix isn't just halving the bitrate! (Since that's not the issue anyway)

Cheers - N

Yeah - dodgy stream I am watching F(irst Row Sports Eu) hasn't had a single buffer or stutter so far.

At least this time they have admitted there's a problem. Previously they claimed it was all the users' or ISPs' fault.

ot sure if its a real issue or fabricated but I bet it clears up after the game as it did last week.

I'll ditch sky soon as I get a chance to drop the mysky unit back I've had enough, I don't have it connected as I moved house and don't have aerial so isky suited me .

Was also VERY poor for me, stuttering and buffering all the time but at least I was able to get the stream started this time, that at least is an improvement. It is pretty poor form when you consider that dodgy overseas illegal streams offer better consistency and quality. Get your game together Sky.

I watched live sports on isky earlier this afternoon,

It didn't buffer, but there was a lot of pixlation when there was fast movement.

Also watched elementary off prime, the picture on that was fine, they seem to do catch up tv ok, but not the live stuff.

Just got sports for the $5 price for month, only interested in poker off espn, worth $5, but not $26 lol so gone when month up. Thought have a nosey look see what like on isky, what waste of time at that quality level.

So... Anyone think Sky have fixed iSky yet? Or will it work fine up until about, um, let's say 9:25pm tonight - then become horribly unreliable for say about 2 hours, then be fine again?

I know what I'm betting on.

They did redesign everything, but I can see on my Slingshot data that zero-rated data is still accumulating, so not really sure if they have switched CDNs yet...

They are serving off Akamai - and they were for the last big game as well. It's never been a simple capacity issue.

On FB they seem confident that they have fixed it. Here's hoping.
