It takes a while to start, possibly buffering?

Nope, I just get an error saying that I need to be a subscriber. Maybe it's just because it's in Beta?

Possibly, I got an email from Sky to say I could try it, so maybe it its limited to accounts who got that email?

Yep, get all the bit's and pieces but as soon as I click on anything I get the message that I have to be a subscriber. Not too bothered and will call Sky as soon as it's not Beta

Seems to work fine here (fine on snap and all you can eat slingshot) interface is abit laggy with both connections but that is to be expected i guess.
Oddly enough its a second ahead of normal live sky.
Love the amount of free movies I can watch.
Over all I am impressed

They don't have the rights to do that.  No broadcaster does - it has to come from the American rights holders for that and since that cuts out our local monopoly (Sky) and duopoly (TVNZ/TVworks) from receiving a cut from viewers watching, they'll fight that to the bitter death.

have you linked your account to your SKY ID?  If you arent sure yet - can you remote record by logging into skytv.co.nz (if you have MySky)

I was in the initial first group of customers used for testing and I had the same issue until I realised my account wasnt linked
