Finch: Any word on when Fanpass is going to support Android Nougat? I'm without a laptop for now and want to watch something on the weekend, but my Nexus 6P is now running Nougat, which causes the app to crash everytime.
Spotted a website bug with PlayBack (the 24 hour catchup feature on PC/Mac). When you're looking through the schedule, it only shows the play icon on the channel selected.
eg if you've gone to View Full Schedule then Sky Sport 1 starts playing; then you choose Sky Sport 4 in the Schedule, and there is the i icon for the summary, but not the play triangle for playback. After you start playing Sport 4 the play icon appears in the schedule.

Glad to hear there are improvements coming.
What's the policy around highlights when you don't have a current pass ? Previously it was very generous, allowing access to all available highlights, but now it seems to just be the Sky Sports Headlines.
Does Sky have any plans to add additional channels, like ESPN, pop ups and Bein? and is there a PS4 app coming?
It's still too expensive. Find a way to make it cheaper and more people will sign up

Yep, it really is fatally flawed, in that if it's too cheap it will gouge into Sky's core business cash cow of the satellite service.
I want HD sport, but presently the only way to get this is via a full Sky sub, which at full price is around $95 per month, by the time you get a base deal, add sport, add an HD ticket and add a MySky recorder so you can actually display the HD.
Cheaper on a deal for sure, but I'm certainly looking elsewhere for this coverage.
Given users have to supply the internet data to view fanpass themselves, paid for separately, when you add it all up, fanpass is too expensive to really appeal.
Which is silly really, as the future is via internet delivery rather than satellite, and fanpass has been proven to be a pretty reliable delivery method.
I don't think it is too expensive. Of course, I'd love it to be cheaper. I think the Fan Pass prices (for a month) are probably about what it is worth.
I think Sky Sport is too cheap. IMO, Sky should reduce the price of Basic, and increase the price of the sport package (say $25/month for basic, $50/month to add sport). At the moment, basic users are subsidising sport users. That is why I cancelled Sky, and now just get a day/week pass a couple of times a year when I'm not watching at a friends/at the pub.

You don't need the My Sky recorder function for HD.. My M-in-law has the new box with HD enabled but the record function disabled.. Save $15 / month..
