Vodafone block all "SMS message Centres" that do not start with +64216006xx

something like +6421600630 *might* work but of course it will still charge you.

This is hard coded into the switch, so nope, it will never work sorry!

i had this working about 2-3years ago on vodafone. there was/are a heap of good websites aroudn that update the SMSC numbers daily. so i had free txt for a year or 2. i only told a couple of mates but after a while nothing would work unless it startd with +64

The Vodafone Fiji SMSC was the best, free SMS for close to a year and best of all it was the same timezone as NZ..:-)

Considering how small Vodafone Fiji's customer base was and the fact so many ppl were using the number I find it hard to believe it took them so long to notice.
