I just bought a second-hand Motorola V1050 and then bought the tools package, hooked them up to an old laptop and was able to get on the net...two or three times. now it comes up saying, "blah blah blah DATA service blah blah" i guess i'm not using a server that i've personally contacted, so where did the service come from in the first place??! and HOW DO I GET IT BACK???!!!

Thanks for the reply, Im on prepay. but it worked in the first place, that's what i can't understand. Did the company suddenly realise that someone was using the internet for free or does vodafone/Motorola provide this service for it's customers? i will post soon, the message that it says when i try to get on the net

Clearly your internet access has been removed by Vodafone systems.

On Prepay its $10 per meg or 10 cents per 10kb of data to use the net! Once you reach $0 its removed

There is nothing wrong with motorola phone tools/phone/PC
