I am looking at getting an A5 for use on Vodafone but their branded handset is out of stock.

Are these exactly the same handset?

Thanks for the responses. I have decided to go with the Galaxy 6 on special from the Warehouse for $599. I have confirmed their 2degrees model is the same as Vodafone's.

I phoned up and got the model codes.

Could you please elaborate on your claims because right now you have posted 2 unsubstantiated posts. If you know of an important distinction between the handsets, please advise. If it's just a difference of who's app is installed and who's home page is loaded into the browser - that is irrelevant.

I can download the Vodafone firmware from Samoblile if necessary but I expect it will work fine with the 2degrees one. My main concern is the hardware is the same.

I have bought the 2degrees Samsung Galaxy S6 and for all intentional purposes it works on Vodafone, including LTE 700 (band 28)
