Hey guys,

I'm interested in the fx market and what I want to do is get sent texts stating that a price has been reached. That's my objective. Is it possible to do with this with telecom mobile phones?

I have a work email using exchange and my phone is a nokia 6235.

telecom say they have etxt which is a rip off of 99$ plus 10$ a month.

Is there any other way that I don't have to pay 'the man' my hard earned money?

I have my work email server which uses outlook 2003 and exchange. I'm in charge of it.

Appreciate the help

James

You might want to have a look at Clickatell and some of their interfaces - they have a SMTP server that will do e-mail to SMS.

I did some research into this.

Looks like Net24 in Christchurch is the best option.

No setup fee. 10$ a month and 25 free texts. Very handy for my Forex objectives.
