Does anyone know the cost if any of the media player section on the Sanyo 7400. I can't find anything on the telecom website and the service rep i talked to on the phone had no idea as well. There are options of videos to watch when i opened it but didnt want to go too far incase i ended up paying heaps for them.

They are free demos clips at this point and the cost nothing to watch.

I work for telecom lol and i guess they havent put it on the intranet and help systems but they wil get arround to it.

Someone somewhere here said the clips on the media player are streamed to your 7400 (vs downloaded) and r a sample of what arrives in 2005, and are free.

But the url on the clips to http://www.telecom.co.nz/videoclip is a URL that doesn't exist.

Correct - the clips are demos, no charge.

Any charges for this service when the real content goes on will be clearly marked.

It means you download it as you watch it. Basically you only download the parts that you are about to watch.

Downloading means you transfer the entire file, before you can preview/watch it. It means that you'll need a bit of memory to store multiple clips vs streaming where you only watch it once and then you need to restream the content.
