Recently had this happen twice from landlines from businesses to my Android mobile. The last one was when my phone was right beside me so definitely would have heard it.

I can ring the mobile from my landline no trouble.

Just wondering whether anyone has any ideas as I can't think of anything unless business calls can be made to do that??

You haven't accidentally added those numbers to your spam list or clicked block calls from unknown numbers in phone settings?

remember not 100% of calls will connect first time - Many factors could make a incoming call go straight to VM

Thanks for the reply. I've scoured all the phone settings and can't find any phone spam list on this Huawei 3i. It doesn't get used as a phone very much at all.

Will just have to make sure I check the Skinny messages and respond to them until I can find what is screwed up.

Thanks @Linux. Maybe it is not a coincidence that the two calls going to VM were from commercial sources.

I will stop looking for problems!

I have had the same issue for a while now, probably for around 12 months, calls from Canterbury District Health Board, Government departments (WINZ & IRD), Mainfreight, Genesis energy and a handful of business clients (these are the most recent examples over the past fortnight), all bounce (I've disabled voicemail) when I try to answer them they get the person at this number not available message (on multiple occasions and repeatedly if they try to call me again), and like you I'll get missed calls without my phone ringing. Unfortunately most of these calls are from a landline and their extension won't show up, CDHB is Private Number, but as I usually know it's my sons registrar calling and I call the ward straight back. One business client is using his Spark mobile and mentioned that they use a Spark Cloud Phone system as have Mainfreight & Genesis, although a call back from Skinny got through fine)

Skinny have reset my connection and I think re-routed my number also, I have restarted my phone and replaced my SIM and also switched the SIM back to my old Xiaomi phone (to find out that it works perfectly and these calls can get through). From what I've gleamed so far is that calls from the Spark cloud based phone systems aren't compatible with my One+ mobile phone. I have checked blocked numbers and spam filters in my settings and have eliminated them as the cause. After another 45mins today speaking to the Skinny "help" desk (after the first helpdesk person disconnected me 15 mins in) I have resigned myself to having to purchase a Samsung phone to try and avoid these issues. I also had a client standing beside me when one of these events happened last week and he mentioned that it happens to him occasionally also.

This is happening more frequently to me and I'm thinking that this issue is potentially growing larger in general. If anyone has a solution I'm listening.
