Hi all,

Somehow the screen of my new 3120c has got some scratches, does anyone know of any product that will buff them out? Can't seem to find anything on trademe...

brasso, used it plenty of times to rejunvenate scatched screens, works well

Agreed, Brasso is great for removing scratches.

It works well because has a fine gritty texture to it, this makes it great for polishing out small light scratches.

Plenty of people say toothpaste works well also. I know there is an interesting youtube video!

Chemico, the pink household cleaner that is over 50 years old. Get the original paste pot, not the liquid bottle. Very popular in South Africa, it is a British product. Twenty years ago it was the only thing that would not void the warranty on my mom's stainless steel pots. A friend uses it as final rubbing compound on newly painted car panels, better than the finest rubbing compound. Never used it on a screen myself, but it will not attack the plastic unlike many chemicals.

There are 3 novus polishes that are used on acrylic - should do the trick on a screen too.
