My backup spare fone for work the W531 no longer works on Vodafone. Comes up "Limited Service". Works fine on 2D SIM. Checked with another Vodafone SIM from another fone here at work same problem. Have checked that it is unlocked, I have relocked and then unlocked it and is still the same.

Is this a Vodafone thing now or has the fone done a hissyfit at Vodafone SIMs??

Not related to Vodafone you can use your SIM in what ever device you like as long as its not blacklisted

Hi John.

I can use my SIM in my Samsung Eternity and an old LG GSM fone and the other SIM at work here (with BellSouth logo on it) works fine in a Nokia GSM mobile..

Not a biggy. The only reason I keep the W531 is that the CDMA side is on Onebill with Telecom and the GSM side is a bonus as a work standby.. Just curious as it used to work fine with Vodafone SIMs..
