ARGH!!!!!! they want me to buy a CD containing a CD and a standard mini-USB cable for $69! YIKES!

Is there anyway of obtaining what's simply a driver free?

I will never buy a Motorola product again for anything critical,,, Terrible support. Their website is just like all big companies websites, Full of blah blah blah and nothing useful. "HelloMoto", C'mon! Laughing

Also,, how do you plug a headset into it?

Use a file sharing programme and download the software (I used limewire) for a motrola V3

Also about 2 weeks ago there was a FW update release from motorola for the E770V and this resolved all the small issues the handset has got.

Try trademe for the cable

I've just sent you a PM regarding this.

Headsets plug into the USB port as well which is damn annoying!

Does the phone have to be flashed or does that software update setting I found in it actually work?

I just got mobilefonerepair in Wellington to do the upgrade for me, phone seems to go a lot faster now if anything. Didn't cost anything either since it was a brand new phone.
