Voda are offering 250MB for £25 or 1GB for £45. T-Mobile are offering 1GB for £17. Launch DL max is 1.8Mbps with 3.6 and 7.2 due next year.

T-Mobile are very competitive at approx NZD51.00

Just goes to show that mobile data is a competitively priced in NZ.

Thats not really true. You cannot just convert the currency and compare that. You must look at what £1 will buy in the UK compared with what $1 will buy here.

Paying £17 for 1Gb is like paying a little over $20 for it here

The Vodafone UK pricing is the equivalent of what we pay here but t-mobile is less than half! However i guess they have the customers and easier access to them than the mobile companies here to justify such a price

Jama you were right with your original comment though, when compared with Voda UK we do have competitive pricing

The OECD, World Bank...Myself and quite a few others, as it provides a relevant base for making fair comparisons.

Except that $49 for 1 gig is as useless a thing as $15 for 100 minuites of talk time when your needs vary greatly from the one available compeditive offering.
