Bought a Phone off ebay that was blocked. I was aware it would not work in the UK as I was off to Kiwi land next month and thought I could wait. I have the problem now where I have delayed my departure and need to use the phone. Is there anyway to unblock (not unlock). Help.......

Honestly I have no Idea, I have not actually got the phone yet, in the post. Thought it was a good idea at the time!!!....doooh. Would not have thought it was stolen, but you never know...The egg might be on my face indeed,

Two options:
Contact the service provider and ask how much to unblock (prob have Mr Plod knocking on my door soon after)
Visit my local Street maket and ask the Mobile man
Or anyone on this forum know how to unblock.

mmmmmm....

It will be blocked on the network side not the handset.

The reason they do this is cause the handset is reported lost or stolen
