Get the N86.

Seriously....

Get the N86

Faster processor, better camera, FM Transmitter, Tempered glass screen, better keypad, better build quality.

The only two things the N96 has above the N86 is memory and a slightly biggerscreen, the N86 is better in every other facet.

Well then other than the advice given to you here it is really up to you to decide, I doubt there is anything else anyone can add that they haven't already that may sway you.

I also think you should consider the n86 - everything is newer and more powerful, apart from the internal memory. No big deal, you can easily get a 16GB memory card for just over $100.

I think the N86 looks better, but like the division between Marmite and Vegemite, everyones opinion is different.

N86 is just better, anybody who recommends either of the other two to you isn't worth listening to...

Get the N96 then, it seems that the small amount of screen real estate is more important than anything else others have pointed out.

Thats kinda a personal decision, don't you think?

Regarding the screen size, its the same QVGA resolution, so the extra size doesn't really help much when it comes to document display/browsing experience - in fact its a little too large for that resolution to be perfectly honest. Also, the N86 has an AMOLED screen, which is an incomparably better display technology. Basically just forget the 0.2 inches...

lol, who is buying the phone? you or the other members on this forum! :P

Check out the reviews on gsmarena.com and allaboutsymbian.com The first page of each review lists the specs and main disadvantages.

Personally i didnt bother with either and went with the Nokia 5630 xpressmusic, Faster processor (600Mhz) plenty of RAM (128MB) plus i liked the music player part. It also runs on the Symbian S60 Feature Pack 2 OS which is great.

Just my 2 cents (hope it doesnt bugger up your choice!)

N86 has the same processor, same variant of Symbian, more memory, better camera, larger screen, larger amount of memory, FM Transmitter....

I think I know who chose the better phone ;)

Not saying that there's anything wrong with your chocie of course. :)
