Calling Party Pays is a foreign concept to Americans!

Up until a few years ago you had to pay to answer an incoming call on your mobile since the mobile network was not actually getting any termination revenue (since the caller didn't know they were calling a mobile). You typically get free incoming calls on most plans but there are still many instances where you "free" minutes are deducted for both incoming and outgoing calls.

There have been several attempts to create a USA wide CPP number series for a mobile network but without much luck.
