I do believe that the manual that comes with the Nokia phone sould mention how to do this (mine does) and in simple and easy to understand language with out an excessive amount of exclamation points.
Any who if your phone came with a cd (which it should of) you can install an application as part of the Nokia PC Suite that will copy music and convert its bitrate for you. This application also creates and copies playlists onto your phone for you. ...Just thought you might like to know.
