yes, i asked many times for a raise of credit limit, say it was un-workable this way.
I got a non-commital response, that they would pass on the request, but it never happened.
i gave up on them after 4 months.

This was in addition to regular GPRS outages in the wellington CBD during that time (i was using mostly for GPRS at the time, and probably should not have had those anytime minutes)

they put credit limits on new customers. not sure how long they've been doing this, but they were not doing such about 4 years ago when we opened my husbands account.

I previously spent about $120 a month on telecom, so was really suprised by how low the credit limit on my new vodafone account was.
they wouldn't budge, so i left them.

now, i'm sadly missing the lack of bluetooth on cdma, with no solution in sight.

the credit limit is for people who dont have a credit history with the company, its on their to build a credit history because some people go crazy with their spending.
its just like if u go to a bank they give you a limit on your credit card. you dont get an instant $10000 limit, you start off smaller then work up after a certain amount of time. Thats what the credit limit is for,.
and they would have probably emailed it to their accts dept to review it, then its up to them
