This looks like the newer version of the 845.  Has the capacitive screen for instance.

All 3 phones are similar spec suggest you try them instore before you buy to see which one you like.

The Ideos has several custom roms available including some that enable multi touch on the device.

As stated above a QVGA screen will limit your selecton of apps from the Market.

How big an effect? I'd basically be happy as long as it does the google apps (maps/places/g+/mail) and GPS okay..

Lets just say my Nokia 3120C has a QVGA screen and thats two inches and not touch screen compared to a 2.8"+ touchscreen "smartphone"

You can get a X10 mini or a Galaxy mini for not a lot more then those budget options

edit: nvm theyre both QVGA as well, could look at the Wildfire S or the LG P500

The apps you mention are all pre installed on these devices so no issue there.

I have the U8150 and there haven't been that many apps I can't install because of the res. On the other hand, higher res would be welcome, but you're on a budget.
