Anyway N97 is terrible comparing to N97-mini. I wouldn't wasting my time and money on it. I could get N97 for less than 600NZD but what is the point, a slow buggy device that will stop working after a few weeks, months or even days?

N900 will replacing my Laptop usage. Which meant I can leave my laptop at home with my desktop. And always be sure that I have a laptop in my pocket.

One last thing, Amazon already drove me crazy ahhah their politic worked on me lol.

He wouldn't be arguing back if you didn't keep calling him names like "young fulla" and "son" etc. In my book thats disrespectful regardless of how old you are & how long you've been a member of geekzone. i would certainly take offence if someone started calling me "son" and "young fulla" etc. As for his grammar it could do with some work but this is a forum after all. You can't expect everyone's grammar to be 100% all the time.


Atleast the pair of you have already ordered! I haven't yet cause I'm still waiting for a bloody Trademe buyer to pay up for my last phone so I will be waitng longer than the pair of you combined!

yep..me too waiting once you all get one...my inlaw from CZECH recons its good but not too many supportedapplications....been sitting on this for a couple of months as you all know...keep us posted, just two things bothers me- no handsfree and MMS

Young fulla, or son, is no different to mate, its lingo, ask any ruga player.

If you take offense to it, that's your prerogative, people can be offended by anything in this day in age, and they are, but that was not it's intention when used...that said nor do I care for being politically correct.

As for his grammar, it was just a bita friendly ribbing, but that said have you read all his posts, here and at Maemo.org?...his grammar is horrible, 100% of the time.

Hes alright though, just frustrated like we are all with the delays, and obviously much more vocal.

maxximuscool: yeah I'm currently waiting too. Oh anyone got any good place to apply for IT job or knowing any place is looking for one? I am looking for a Technical Support position. I stuffed up m interview last week and just got a rejected letter from the Human Resource.

I am losing my hope slowly... Might going back to UNI...if I cant find any thing to do next year.


Out of curiosity, how good is your CV and how confident are you in interviews?

The two of them can make the difference between you being picked over the competition...confidence is key in any interview.

And.....keeping on topic....take your new N900 along with you to your interview, so when you get asked questions you don't know, ya can just quickly sneak a look online and get the answer Cool

From what I have heard it does have handsfree?!

As for MMS it's rumoured Nokia will add support for it in the 1st firmware update aswell as adding portrait mode (currently portrait mode is only avaliable for calls).

Not too fussed about MMS but looking forward to using the scrolling desktops in portrait mode Laughing
