There are a fair few, even some around Auckland (maybe heading north of Helensville on the coast), but I'm sure John will correct me if I'm wrong :)

Digikiwi: OK, I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the heads up. Does/do such places exist already?

@Digikiwi Yes RCG locations some but not many have 3G 2100Mhz which is still a small coverage footprint

You bought a good phone & you bought it well. You can comfortably recommend your purchase to your friends. Don't go nitpicking for irrelevant minor possible failings, no mobile phone is perfect nor will it ever be. Your brand new, NZ spec Galaxy S9+ was a clever purchase, you've done well.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. At the end of the day, it'll either work for me or I move on, and I echo your sentiments.

I have an Imported iPhone 12 pro and its 100% fine with all NZ networks and VoLTE as they are universal

Android is hit and miss some work and some don’t so if you want Android it pays dividends to buy from the specific Mobile provider you wish to use the phone on
