Jasper, the settings are:

Start | Settings | More | Data Connections

Internet: automatic
Work: automatic
WAP: automatic
Secure WAP: automatic
WAP Proxy: automatic
MMS: Voda MMS

Menu | Edit Connections | GPRS Connections

1 Internet, Connects to The Internet, Access Point www.vodafone.net.nz

2 Voda MMS, Connects to MMS Network, Access Point live.vodafone.com

Start | MMS Settings

Connect via MMS Network

Menu | MMSC Settings

Vodafone PXT, MMSC URL http://pxt.vodafone.net.nz/pxtsend, WAP Gateway 172.30.38.3, Port 9201

That's what I have on my Windows Mobile Smartphone (Motorola MPx220) and I can send and receive MMS, plus connect to GPRS for synchronisation to Exchange Server and Pocket Internet Explorer browsing.

You might have different menus, but the information is this one for Vodafone New Zealand.

Worth changing to WAP 1.1 and port 9201 to test?

Yes, WAP 1.0 is worth trying - my Smartphone is the same OS version and it's running fine (I don't have the WAP version selection though, so I assume the safe one is the lowest).
