Seller Comment: PLEASE NOTE I WILL GIVE A 7 DAY WARRANTY TO THE WINNER OF THIS AUCTION AND THE WARRANTY IS FOR FAULTS WITH THE PHONE IF YOU FIND 1 ONLY, I WILL NOT GIVE OUT A REFUND FOR DAMAGE TO THE PHONE OR ACCESSORIES OR IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND AND DONT WANT IT ANY MORE. SO NO NEGATIVE FEED BACK SHOULD BE PLACED AS IM OFFERING A WARRANTY WITH THE PHONE ONLY IF IT TURNS OUT TO BE FAULTY.

Will he hold up the deal in the "7 day warranty"?? :P

I see that Expansys is offering a "discount" for orders of 5 units or more - did anyone get any further down the tracking finding out other options to buy as a group? I would possibly be interested in a group order.

But Expansys are so expensive, that even after with the bulk purchase discount, they would still not be cheaper then their competitors...we are still looking...waiting for a reliable and preferbly local supplier...we will update this thread should and when we find something creditable.

surprisinly enough "cheak" (cheaky) sounds like a better description of what he is doing than cheap!

So if you buy it from overseas and it goes wrong, can you get if fixed here in NZ under the warranty?

Any NZ support would be at the descretion and availability of the supplier...that is why we are being very carefull and checking all their terms...otherwise to get support may require shipping back to the country of origin at the owners cost.

If bought from overseas it will not be fixed in New Zealand by the manufacturer under warranty.

None.

As we get closer to the date, more supplier/importers will become available, and we wll have better choices...

We don't want to rush into purchasing through any supplier/importer, just because they appear to have it first...we could end up geting stung.

I assure you we still want to be the first to have this device, AND get it at a great price...but not at the risk of getting a dud.

Expansys...well...not only are they expensive, but making you wait another month for arrival, sounds like a con to me...they not going to be the first to have available the N900 here in NZ with a policy like that, they just first to market it on their website and take peoples money, secure sales...using them will not gurantee your the first in NZ to have the N900 nor at the best price...far from it I think.

Agreed. I went through this with them and the N95 a couple of years back, ended up cancelling my order and getting it locally well before they starting shipping, and that was at a time when we had far fewer parallel importers in NZ.
