Does anyone know the progress of this?

Very tempted to goto magic tv now that it has dropped price.

Magic TV looks good.
I like that you can edit your recordings. The Humax Freeview recorders had in the UK let me edit out ads after recording or trim the excess recorded material before and after and rename it..

Would miss the suggestions that TiVo records, I have found so many things in there that I would have watched but missed. Also only 8 days EPG, although maybe this can be fixed in future.
But at under $500 at Bond & Bond might be a solid option for a second recorder.
