Indeed I did but it makes no difference... It seems to be the tv losing signal (?) not the TiVo changing resolution...

How many HDMI inputs are connected to the TV ?

Have you traied swapping them ?

Is your screen resolution set to Auto Format, try changing it to widescreen.

Hi,
To answer both question;
3 x HDMI ports - I have tried two different ports with 3 cables - no help :-(

Screen resolution - no similar setting available... closest I have is Auto Wide (was set to On - changed it to Off to see) - doubt this will help though...

It could also be the Tivo changing screen resolutions from the signal which is making your TV change resolution hence the pause.
Try going into the settings from the TiVo button
then settings/video/video output format then lock it to the highest resolution on your tv
Mine is set to 1080i Fixed
That will stop the tivo changing resolutions as the signal changes.

The screen resolution on the Tivo is fixed at 1080i - that's not the issue unfortunately - and I would expect that to occur when the video resolution change - eg between programmes, not in the middle of one...

one thing I have noticed mine doing is giving a slight pause/screen lock sometimes when it starts recording something. It could be my tivo hard drive is full and its deleting programs it has recorded to make space..
I can't see how much space is used on there anywhere.

FYI - Looks like a TV issue for me. TV did the same thing while watching a DVD, so this rules out the Tivo side of things. The TV is now with the repair company and hopefully they can resolve it :-)
