Hi There!

A client of mine saw one of these at a fair in Australia and has asked me to find something similar in NZ.

I am curious to know if anyone here would have any idea what other clothing retailers use to prep photography of clothing for online web stores?

Looks pretty snazzy. I don't know what professionals here use, I doubt many have anything that fancy though.

The links in your post are wrong, you need to copy and paste not just click.

I think the editor is broken, I just pasted the url and put url tags around it.

I have seen some other strange urls this week on GZ as well.

Worked the second time, I even pasted the exact same text from my clipboard history!

If you paste a URL and it's automatically hyperlinked in the rich-text edit you don't need to put the bbcode around it.

I mostly only use the quick reply, is it possible to have that box use the RT Editor? I hate using BB Codes :)

Hi - interesting device & software package. I suspect that it would require a large volume of this type of work to make it worthwhile and that the web viewer (let alone the model) would be pretty dizzy by the end of it.
I do some photography for a corporate clothing manufacturer here in Wellington - we generally shoot the model front on, back on and occasionally also from sides if there are details to show off.
I'd be a bit wary of 'blanket' lighting like this machine offers - I like to taylor the lighting (oops, pun) for the garments being worn (textures, fabrics, colours) and to give shape to the clothes and model.
With good studio lighting and a clean background the photography side of this process would be easy - the post-production would just require some image programming to clean-up & combine the files into the animated image.
