Hi guys,

I needed a camera in Mid-Mar 2019. As I know fuji is gonna release X-T30 in early 2019.

I am thinking to pick up this X-T20 w 18-55 at NZD1309 (its a parallel import from Hong Kong)

www.trademe.co.nz/electronics-photography/digital-cameras/other/listing-1895377410.htm?rsqid=5adb3b3b0a8d48eeafec3a5103271987k

Is this price always the same since X-T20 released in 2017? If so, X-T20 price should be discounted when X-T30 is out.

If this price has already been falling since 2017, I think it is safe to buy now because it has already reflected its 2 years old age. X-T30 release should not have any impact.

Thanks for helping me out!

Oh by the way, is udsmart trustworthy?

You've gotta ask yourself (outside of the fact that this thing is parallel imported) why it's being sold at nearly 50% cheaper than the cheapest price listed for an official seller. And the seller is based in Hong Kong, so you can forget about enforcing any CGA-related rights. Whether this thing will be cheaper at X date in the future is pure speculation. Even if you want to go the parallel imported route, I'd think you'd be better off to spend a bit more and deal with a NZ-based parallel importer with a physical presence.
