Hi Guys!!!

I'm here to ask anyone who has a G2 what their experiences was like with it?
I'm moving on from point and shoot to manual controls and I would like to know what are some limitations the G2 has.

Are the controls hard to fiddle with? What are the shutter speeds like, and aperture settings? Also if i were to just use it as a point and shoot camera, how will that turn out ?

Thanks any other suggestions welcome, I'm particularly looking for a swivel screen :)

I'm also looking at the G3 that's coming out, when does it arrive in NZ ?

The G2 and G3 are both good cameras. I'm not sure that I fully understand your question, but both will give you full exposure control if that's what you mean.

The Micro Four Thirds cameras have a smaller sensor than what you would get in a DSLR so the high ISO noise and dynamic range aren't quite as good, but in my view it's a worthy compromise between portability and image quality.

Just wanted to know if these camera's will give me the "professional" feeling when i need to take photos that are "pro" if you get me.......

Well, photographic results are usually about 10% related to the camera and 90% related to the user so unless your existing camera is faulty or very old then you might be better off spending your money on a photographic course rather than a new camera.
