Wow, that Bee shot is something else.

I've tried myself a few times for hours on end to capture something like that and never succeeded. Congratulations.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Guys and Gals

When posting your masterpieces, please include some camera, lens, speed, aperture readings info.

I enjoy viewing all your photographs but I would really appreciate learning how/what you did to capture them.

Thanks Smile

A rainy day...

Shot with my new 50mm fixed focal length lens.  f 2.8 I'd say for this one, and a fairly quick shutter speed.
Little bit of lens flare added to the water drop afterwards in photoshop Wink
All just playing around.

I can't say for gifs. The info you are looking for is usually embedded/might be in the image file.

Have added some details above.  Wanted to upload it a bit larger, but the geekzone image uploader appears to resize down to smaller dimensions, regardless of the original size of the file I'm trying to upload?

The cityscape above, has its EXIF intact, which can be viewed with Opanda iExif

Shot with a Canon 40D at 1/320" and f13
On 14th October 2012 at 3:54pm
ISO 400
focused at Infinite
Focal length F4
Shot in Auto mode (that's embarrassing)
Lens used Canon 17-40mm f4
Processed with Lightroom 3.4.1
no flash was used.

Opanda is free and works with IE and Firefox.  I believe there is also a Mac version.

Thanks!

I did a few tweaks using LightRoom like increasing range by increasing the highlights and pushing the shadows down. Also increased vibrancy a bit.
The original looked a bit more pale, obviously..

Taika Waititi

Shot this in the weekend at We Can Create design conference in Auckland. Taika's presentation was hilarious, and was more of him just telling a story about him growing up than any hard talk on the future of design and professional creativity.

Was very chuffed with the photo because of how dark the auditorium was, and how slow my telezoom lens is. A lot of throw aways before and after that photo.
