I enjoy street photography too, slowly developing my skills. I live near a major train station so lots of opportunities there. Always looking for new subjects and topics of interest.

simantics: Time is the new currency, and buddy I'm poor.

I have to force myself to find a couple of hours each week to shoot. It's hard with work and trying to keep a semblance of a social life. I'm hoping having a day set aside with a small group would encourage regular photo taking.

If you were in Wellington...

Thanks. A train station is always a good location. Plenty of new subjects every day. Do you have a favourite spot in the city for street photography?

Thanks. Hmm I think it is time to start something like that for Auckland. There must be plenty of street photographers here. For some reason they are hiding though.

Hi there!

I am moving to Auckland in about a month and it's nice to see that there are people there into street photograhy.

Although I am more into documentary photography I also like street and exploring urban scenarios.

In a month I will be in Auckland. It would be nice to meet up to chat and take some photos around :)

I'll leave here my IG profile where I share some shots I take around here.

I've certainly spotted a few street photographers doing their thing in Auckland, so to say they don't exist is false, but yeah we're not as big as say NYC or London!
