if you aren't going to budge by taking pictures in good lighting conditions and i presume you aren't editing from RAW one tip

set your contrast to the LOWEST your camera will go under those conditions.

in jpeg that setting will give you the most dynamic range on jpeg under harsh lighting conditions, you can always increase the contrast afterwards. if shooting RAW this will NOT apply, just ignore
