Damager: Don't think ffdshow is the problem by the sounds of it. Are there any video preferences in movie maker to adjust the video/color settings?

Good quality video on YT. Hopefully you can sort the color issue.

Ohok @ ffdshow. Well you would think the preferences or options of movie maker would help with this but unfortunately this is all they give us in the options menu:

The only thing wrong with me using this program is the colour. Everything else looks really good. Its simple and easy to use (lol i sound like an info-mercial).

there are a bunch of special effects you can apply to movies - perhaps you indavertently selected one of these? They're on the "visual effects" toolbar

Yep I've already checked the Visual Effects options and whether I have made that type of error but that's not the case. Do you think maybe it could be the .VOB file? Because I only dragged the .VOB file to the program and not the other files:

??

no, the IFO files contain the menu and chapter information normally, not any video stream data. not sure what is going wrong here.

Hey Regs thanks so much for your help!

Is there another program similar to Windows Live Movie Maker that anyone knows of? :-?

there are tons of other options.  perhaps you should go check out http://www.videohelp.com/author for lots of guides.  there is even a link there entitled "how to put multiple dvds on a single dvd" using software called womble easydvd (which is free for the first 30 days...)
