joker97: On the other hand if you were in Victoria, there would not be a single week go by that you don't hear of Somali gang fights (involving machetes) resulting in serious injury. It turns out these refugees, usually teens when they were granted stay in Australia, had brought their way of life, weapons, gang wars from Somalia to Melbourne.

And hey, I heard the Green party wants to open the doors to more refugees to NZ.

Got to love the greens.

On Wednesday Government support partners UnitedFuture, ACT and the Maori Party spoke out against National's reluctance to lift the quota with UnitedFuture leader Peter Dunne saying the Government had "got it wrong". There was a strong case for lifting New Zealand's annual refugee quote to at least 1000 and the Government should also consider an emergency response to the mounting refugee numbers in Europe, he said.

Um.. Green Party launches Bill to increase refugee quota

Got to love the greens.

Not sure of the point of your link above and the relevance of the immensely silly comment you've been making " Got to love the greens "

Especially when the Greens said:
“The increase to 1000 refugees per year is reasonable and modest. We hope there should be wide political support."
and indeed there does seem to be wide political support - except from a few hard-line bigots and xenophobes.

But you did reply - with an inane response.
Possibly completely true to character - or lack thereof.

So its OK for a photographer to take a photo of a child which is about to be eaten alive, walk away and do nothing? Ie. Let the child die, and possibly face a terrifying death!????!!

Fred99:

Photojournalists who find themselves in this situation do face a moral dilemna.  If there's a "greater good" to be achieved, then it's hardly disgusting.

Greater Good??!!?? yea mate. Who defines that good? The photographer? You?

But someone who is against raising the refugee quota is labeled a bigot and/or xenophobe? WOW.

Talk about contradicting yourself mate.
