I really like the bee photo.

GZ needs a "+1" button or something. :-)

Taken today at the Taieri Wings and Wheels.

Not the greatest lighting or composition, but great aircraft nonetheless.

'Twas a good day out on Sat, good weather, varied aircraft, there is a heap on my flickr if anyone is interested.
Good workout with my new camera, took about 500 shots split between my 7D and my 5Dmk3 :)
I need bigger CF cards now though.

Not quite today, early Feb - didn't even think of posting here until this thread came up again :-)

Ruapehu was close!

Mount Ngauruhoe is the one in the background, the other peak/summit is part of the walkway on the Tongariro crossing. Not sure exactly what its called, as theirs another peak (no in picture) that has the Tongariro summit on it.

That little spec on the top of the right hand peak is a person! I counted about 30people in total in that picture on the full size jpg

Yes!
I could recognise that scrub from a mile away. I go to Mt Ruapehu often, though I haven't done the Tongariro Crossing!

Perigee moon 06 May 2012.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?
