Hey guys

Recently rooted my Samsung Note 3 and uploaded CM12 and loving the OS. Phone is extremely responsive and just loving all the features. One thing I have noticed though is that Semble (one of my favourite apps and has got me out of a few sticky situations when i have forgotten my wallet) is not avaliable. I know on the website it says that Semble won't work on a rooted phone but is there some way to work around this ???

Cheers

Put the sim in a non rooted phone, login to semble and set the card to be always on. Then it will work when the screen is off on a rooted phone. But I have no idea if CM has all the sim stuff needed in it or not. Doesnt hurt to try anyway.

You can't use Semble on a rooted phone to manage the cards. This is by design and for security.

As above, if the CM OS has the Tap to Pay bits then you can use it for payment using the SIM with a default card created on another device.

Another reason it will not work is that the phones that are supported for Semble must be running the correct NZ Firmware for the app to work as well, the build number must be exactly what Semble is looking for. There may be away around the root issue but no way around the build number not matching the whitelist.

Thanks guys. I do know that it does have the tap to pay bits in settings but it does noting when clicked. Just updated the phone back to samsung lollypop 5.0. Just hate the extra bloat ware they always give.

If you want to use semble make sure the build you have is the correct NZ one, I had an issue with an S3 that was rooted and running CM, loaded a Telecom rom back onto it, was genuine NZ and latest version of Android for it but the build was not the same as Semble expected so failed.
Loaded correct build number and problem solved.
