Nothing. Mind you Scrawlr is a very basic tool. It doesn't test form submissions and other vulnerabilities.

I think you will win because you are light, flexible and keen. Also, adlist.co.nz sticks better than any of your previous oppositions names.

All the very best.

Ok so a few things have changes, the most notable is the switch from the old method of browsing to the new browse box with js (immediate browsing!).

Along with that i will be finishing code on the 'won auctions' and adding the ability to list an auction for less than two weeks,

the old browse was:

Old sort method

And the new is :
new

Cheers,

Alex

Hay all,

It seems i could only get it about 70% done in a week, not a bad effort tho considering.. Ill give myself another week to finish off all the code and fixes that need doing

So today the following has been done

  • MyListings has been created which will tell you of activity on your listings
  • Profile has been updated to reflect these changes
  • Promotions have been added (like share on facebook for $10).
  • Galleries have been added to listing pages, you can now click to see a gallery of all the images on an auction.
  • The browse functionality has changed to javascript, and as such takes up like 1/5 of the room it normally would.
  • Fix's to the messaging system
  • BuyNow actually does something (wins the auction) when completed, however the class to handle won auctions isnt yet completed (it will be where you now see 'My Bids', and be reflected to the Lister under 'Alerts')
  • Facebook login fixed
  • Number of listings added for the new browse function.
Cheers

Alex

EdenCoder: @SCM,

it does, unfortunatly my area table is a bunch of s**t, like i said.. It will be updated today :)

You might want to check the spelling of 'Gisborne' (minor detail in comparison to you building a whole auction site in a week :P)

It cracked me up that it was spelled correctly in its own sub-category but not in the district column..

Anyway, fixed!

Cheers for the feedback mate!

Well a pretty productive day so far,

the following has been added

  • Rather than a bunch of box's for messages and listings and such, jquery tabs have been implemented.
  • A range of fixes to the code for the browse function (it messed with the list js a bit)
  • Messages and won/lost auctions are now a thing
  • The alerts class has been coded (twice, once redundantly)
  • There is now a 'Dashboard' page which is designed to tell you everything you need to know about your auctions/listings/bids/etc
  • The feedback class has been coded but not implemented yet
  • Listings now have a jquery gallery function, clicking any image in the gallery on a listing page will bring it up.
The most notable difference is the following

Being the design of the tabbed profile rather than the boxed layout profile.

Cheers

Alex

Today:

  • Optimized css and php
  • Finished the buy/sell/messaging class (although the buy/sell messaging class is done, the actual display class needs some work)
  • Coded the email/sms class
  • Fixed the /?view pages to show when something is expired or sold or whatever
  • Changed a few style type things such as the favicon and logo
  • Added random messages (which i would love some more of... suggestions?)
I should be ready to test this all properly sunday!

Cheers

Alex

Hay again all,

I have finished all of the listing/selling functions and want to test out the shop functions i just coded. Basically if you are a shop, you can pay $10 per month and receive 100 listings 1x1 in size, there will be other options ranging up from the $10.

Anyway, the way you can list your stuff is by CSV, i will probably just use the same best practice CSV's as pricespy to save confusion.

With that said, i need to test a bunch of CSV uploads for shops... But i dont actually have a shop.

PM me if you want to have your stuff listed free for a year (up to 100 items), attach your shop name, CSV and adlist username and i will do the rest.

Thanks in advance

Alex

Works really well on iPad 2. I especially like the formatting of that browse box.

I played with the list page a bit..

It should now hide the left profile bar when you go to list something

Hay all,

Another update, we are basically ready to soft launch.. Few minor things to change to do with the header and the theme (css work), and a couple additions to the shipping and payment class.. Then we are good to go!

Cheers

Alex
