Nice to see the Chorus network map updated thread.
Anyone have contacts at Enable to ask them to update their coverage map on their homepage?

Everything is still showing as "Planned fibre coverage", even the places like Rolleston which their News items say have a 20% uptake.

Enables map is the most woeful thing I have ever seen, and has not changed basically since they started the rollout, I agree there maps should  be updated to show parts which have been completed and other shades of when other parts which might expect to get fibre in the year 201X etc, maybe like chorus maps. I feel Christchurch dipped out when Enable won the contract for the UFB, you just need to look at the plan differences between regions which have chorus for the LFC vs Enable.

^ This.

While briefly at the beginning they had an interactive map which displayed current, soon and future planned coverage, it is now seldom updated and unhelpful.

Now:
- Interactive map is poor.
- Screenshots of map updates sent in emails are tiny and impossible to properly distinguish coverage.
- Emails to support / sales are fruitless as no one will provide any other information other than a painful generic response.
- No ISP has any more information than what is publicly available on the site.

Just given up...

True, but the map is still woeful.

As a user I want to see colours. Yearly estimate coverage areas etc.
Something a bit more than what there is.

They might have updated their address checker to add any sites being added by july 2015 otherwise they just tell you where to go. If you click on the map it is the same as it has always been planned coverage. That map on stuff is rubbish you can hardly even see it and even at the time was unable to find a better copy. There is also no planned coverage beyond july 2015 so no indication on areas which will get upgraded, even if you are on the proposed plan they can easily remove you as they did to me. They left us stranded literally every street surrounding us has it except ours, so they will probably come back in 2019 to do our street after forgetting us.
