Folks... We have a Rinai gas heather (Timberflame IB35 ETR) here that was removed some time ago from our wall. We want to sell it as is and not sure if there are any regulations around this?

Comments, ideas?

There seem to have been a few of these go through Trademe with no problems,
http://www.trademe.co.nz/home-living/heating-cooling/heaters/gas/auction-471437624.htm
So I think there are no restrictions on selling them,

But once someone did buy it, I am fairly sure they will need a registered Plumber/gas fitter to install it.....

That's exactly right Wellygary. You need to get a registered gas fitter to connect the unit, plus an electrician to install a power outlet nearby if required etc.

I've both sold something very similar and purchased something via trademe etc. No problems and buyer beware as it is 2nd hand with no guarantees it still works etc.

Thanks for the feedback folks. We will list on Trade Me soon, unless someone here wants it? Will post in the Offers/Wanted forum...
