I have a Candy Alise front loader washer/dryer like the one pictured below however it usually takes 2 full drying cycles (100min each) to get even a modest load of washing dry and sometimes even then it just kind of seems to steam them rather than dry.

I noticed that if you remove the filter plug at the bottom left of the unit, even during the drying cycle water continues to flow through the unit unless the tap is turned off at the wall.

Just wondering if this is normal behavior for this sort of washer (for water to run through it during a dry cycle)?

And if there is a fault with my unit or they are just cr@p at drying?
