Hey you automation guru's - know I should do a search but have got tired of trying to sort this one out over the years!
Have "a smart meter" - is there anyway yet to have an App to read power consumption - daily, weekly etc.
Just that for years have manually read and then put into a spreadsheet.
Thanks

Hi

I havent seen an APP yet.

However being a Meridian customer, I can view my consumption, daily, weekly, monthly in units of electricity
and also cost in $,  all from the  My Meridian website.

Not the answer you were looking for , but you might like to see if your provider has a similar website?

cheers

Meridian have (or used to have) a pretty handy portal for viewing energy data. They have taken it down recently however, to upgrade apparently. I was able to get daily totals for both import and export (I have solar PV) which was very handy for calibrating my own custom energy monitor (from OpenEnergyMonitor - www.openenergymonitor.org).

Have you considered adding some sort of energy monitor yourself?

Thanks you guys - can't get ours from Meridian because our account is via CRT/Farmlands (bulk deal) but just wondered if there had been any developments.
Gad it can't be too difficult? Yes am aware of some sorts of readers you can get but am at the stage that don't want (or need) another standalone device!
