Where can I buy a hot water cylinder thermostat online in NZ?

Google skill fail or is this difficult.

Are you replacing a faulty one or buying new? I guess its to switch a heating element? If so do you know the Wattage of said element.

Just replacing a failed cylinder thermostat. If the element has failed I will call a plumber.

Can't you just ring a local electrical or plumbing wholesaler?

It is not a device I'd expect to be widely sold on-line as most people buying them will have trade accounts with a wholesaler.

If you need one asap bunnings and mitre 10 should have them. Otherwise any electrical or plumbing wholesaler will have them. Don't see why you would bother waiting for one to get delivered.

Not an asap scenario. Sometimes it is just easier to order parts and avoid running around.

I tested now and it is element failure with resistance at 3K Ohm giving 20W.

The drain outlet/plug is in a good location so I will consider replacing the element.
