Hi

Can someone recommend a good place to buy a power adapter for a access point?

I am looking for something with the following specs:

- Output voltage (vdc) = 12

- Output current max (A) = 1.5

- Output power max (W) = 18

- Connector details = Barrel Plug, 2.1mm I.D. x 5.5mm O.D. x 9.5mm

Not keen for a Dick Smith universal jobbie as it's large!

I am in Wellington but not worried about ordering online and waiting.

Tried element14 or if really desperate as they're quite expensive, jaycar.

Numerous on trademe. Random example:

The 2A versions seem more common now.

Opps sorry , this is way to much power for what you want.

Buy a WD or seagate external drive - that's what they come with and when you pull the drive out of the case you have a useful HDD for less than the cost of an internal normally.

Just check the T M ones...they may not have NZ certification.
