Has anyone ever seen a slide out rubbish bin, but one that sits in the open and not concealed in a cupboard.

I want to put one under a edge of of the kitchen island where the bar stools would usually. A pedal bin lid will not open enough if sitting under there.

I want it looking like the metal rectangular pedal bins though.

Cheers

I've never seen anything quite like that. You could use a top mounted slide out bin and get a drawer front/shroud for the front/exposed sides.

we have this one mounted in a cupboard

however I think it is 2x 8L not 2x 6L

200 mm width is the perfect size for supermarket bags going inside the rubbish pull out.

Mitre 10 also have a slide out one that usually people put under the sink, but it would go under your counter as well, it doesn't attach or need a door front.
