I would like to build a 3 sided wooded frame, which will have MDF panels then attached to it. The frame will sit on trolley like casters for ease of moving.

The width of the frame will be 2.4M

The depth of the frame will be 1.4M

and the height of the frame will be 2m

I would then like to install MDF or similar panels to each side and a roof.

Would someone be able to help me draw up some plans and materials list please.

A good place to start would be if you sketched something showing what you're wanting on paper then shared that?

if you can make the depth 1.2m as then its will use less sheets of timber than being 1.4m (sheets usually 2.4x1.2m). and require less cutting.

This is the closest thing I could find online, that I'm trying to recreate.

It isn't to hide a hot water tank.

What's it for? i.e. how robust does it need to be, how often does it need to move, which area of the house is it going in, will it be painted etc.?

Three sided boxes are inherently pretty flimsy. And that is a *big* box so will have lots of torque on the joins. If you were going with 18mm MDF, it will weigh a tonne, but the MDF will add some rigidity itself. If the MDF was just panels to cover things, the frame will need to be much more significant but will probably be stronger in the long run and weigh a lot less. If it isn't for show, you might like to consider something like 12mm plywood, which doesn't look as dressed but is a lot stronger and lighter. And usually more durable if there is a chance of it getting wet/damp.

Decided against the wood cover, your right, it will be heavy.
