Help!
Would be a shame to call me a DIY expert, so hoping the GZ community can assist.
The top button on the wall switch in our bathroom has suddenly gone wonky and doesn’t work.
I’ve taken the front plate off, but nervous to go any further.
What’s the likely issue? Can I buy a new button or do I need an entire new switch?
And if I take the entire plate off, do I switch the mains off?

One photo with the button in off position (wonky) and one in on position (wonky).

What’s the likely issue?

More than likely one of the plastic pins that holds the "button" into the rest of the switch has broken off... this is likely terminal,

and it looks like they are all integrated in to the 3 switch unit rather than being 3 individual switches. so yes,  you could attempt to tease out the broken one and replace it with a new button., BUT

From what you have said with regard to your level of confidence around wiring,  the solution is to get an electrician to replace the switch....
