My installer never installed the original Mitsubishi heatpump controller for my ducted unit, since I have airtouch. I've given up with them, so will do it myself.

I purchased my own PAR-40MAA controller and I'm lost how to connect it to my PEAD 50 unit. The manuals are a bit confusing. Supposedly I need to connect it to the CN90 connector on the motherboard, but that's a 9-pin header connector, where the controller is just 2-core 22AWG wire...I must be missing something.

Anyone have any insight?

need to look in where the power cables come in from the outdoor unit. should be a pair of terminals after the end of the power terminals. hopefully is marked 1 and 2.

covered in the install manual (Installation_Manual-PEAD-M50-140JAA_IM_VN79D607H02_Apr2021 is the one i found) 8.2 has a pic.

Ahhh I'm an idiot. I see the figure @tweake is referring to, and I can see the terminal block and contact screws I need to connect to.

The one on the right here. Easy peazy. Thanks again.
