chevrolux: (use a 1mm drill bit to find the edges) to make sure you get full effect of the tek screw.

If it's a 180 degree bracket, don't muck around with half measures.
Return it and get something suitable... that way you can rest easy knowing you won't hear a crash *thud tinkle* in the night...

I just found a similar looking product (probably made in the same place) that has a larger wall plate made for NZ studs. It's cheaper too, so looks like I will return the jaycar one. Never heard of the website selling it through..

Never seen a 42" that has a 200x200 vesa mount on it. Always been way more than that.
